    Travel to Turkey
    Passengers arriving to Turkey must have:
    • COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival; OR
    • a negative COVID-19 antigen test result certificate from a test taken at most 48 hours before arrival; OR
    • a negative COVID-19 PCR test result certificate from a test taken at most 72 hours before arrival; OR
    • COVID-19 recovery certificate. The passenger must have tested positive at least 28 days and at most 6 months before arrival;

    This does not apply to passengers younger than 12 years.

    Required forms

    All passengers travelling to Turkey must submit a completed Traveller Entry Form no more than 72 hours prior to departure and present it at check-in and upon arrival. This does not apply to passengers younger than 6 years.

    Quarantine and self-isolation

    Passengers who in the past 14 days have been in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, India, Namibia, Nepal, Mozambique, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka or Zimbabwe are subject to a 10-day quarantine at their own expense in a government-designated hotel listed at www.shgm.gov.tr/tr/covid-19-tedbirler/6599-izolasyon-otelleri

    Passengers could be subject to self-isolation for up to 14 days. This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival.

    Domestic Flights in Turkey (for example between Istanbul and Cappadocia region)

    • According to the Circular published by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Interior the requirement of vaccination/experienced disease or a negative result of PCR test applied within 48 hours at the latest shall be sought via the HES code during check-in in on domestic flights.
    • Within the framework of the criteria determined by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, in order for the vaccines accepted by the ministry to satisfy the criteria for admission to flight, administration of one dose is required for Johnson & Johnson and two doses for other vaccines, and 14 days must have passed after the last dose.
    • For people who are immune to COVID-19, vaccination and PCR testing are not required. Passengers who have had the COVID-19 disease and a maximum of 180 days have passed after their PCR test with positive result are deemed as immune.
    • Passengers who have had the COVID-19 disease, a single dose of vaccination is considered adequate without a limitation of time after a minimum of 14 days have passed upon their PCR test with positive result.
    • The requirement applies for all our passengers aged 18 (entered the age of 18) and over.
    • For passengers to be able to do their check-in transactions, they are required to have given confirmation to displaying o Vaccination Status, Disease Status and Test Status via the HES Code Settings section of the application of "Hayat Eve Sığar" (Life Fits into Home).
    • Passengers who fail to be eligible for the criteria specified in the circular published by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Interior may not have their check-in transactions done and shall not be admitted to board the flight.

    Rules for Dubai residence visa holders, visitors and tourists

    All UAE residents, visitors and tourists can travel to Dubai without an approval from GDRFA or ICP. However, visitors and tourists who are not eligible for a visa on arrival have to meet the visa requirements before travelling to the UAE. Please click here for UAE visa requirements

    Requirements

    Passengers travelling to Dubai from all countries, including the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC), must fulfill one of the below requirements at the airport of departure:

    • present a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate, reflecting that the passenger is fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO) or the UAE. The certificate must contain a QR code.
    • present a valid negative COVID-19 test certificate that should be based on a molecular diagnostic test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS‑COV‑2 viral RNA. The certificate must be issued within 48 hours from the time of sample collection by an approved health service provider and must contain a QR code.
    • present a valid medical certificate from the relevant authorities showing that the passenger has recovered from the novel coronavirus COVID-19, issued within one month before the date of arrival. The certificate must contain a QR code.

    If you are arriving from India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh or Egypt, you must get your certificate from one of the labs listed in the designated laboratories (PDF, 150 KB).

    Exemptions for the COVID‑19 PCR test and the vaccination certificate

    The following people are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test or a vaccination certificate at the departure airport:

    • all UAE nationals returning to Dubai from any country
    • non‑UAE nationals accompanying a first‑degree UAE national family member
    • domestic workers accompanying a UAE national sponsor.

    The following people are exempt from being tested for COVID-19:

    • children below 12 years of age
    • passengers with moderate to severe disabilities
