Holiday Factory launched with attractive tour offers DOHA HOLIDAY Factory, a prominent package tour operator in the GCC countries, has begun its operations from Qatar. Officials of the Holiday Factory announced some of its products and their prices during a press conference held at the Sheraton Hotel on Thursday. The company announced attractive and affordable tour packages for destinations such as Dubai and Istanbul. The package for two nights and three days to Dubai which includes air ticket, hotel accommodation and airport transfer is $199 and the 3 nights and 4 days package to Istanbul is $499. According to the company officials, travellers can begin their tours from today from Doha airport. Unveiling the details of the package tours by Holiday Factory, CEO of the organisation, Hakan Bakar said the company plans to lessen the travelling expenses of the people. “Qatar is an unexplored outbound market with a growing mid-level income group looking for affordable holidays. The present packages in the market are far more expensive than the developed markets. We would like to bridge the gap by offering our packages for half the price of the existing ones,” he said. He added that the prices offered by Holiday Factory were “simple with no hidden cost and taxes”. “The package price is the final price with no nasty surprises,” he added. Irfan Cokovic, board member of the company, said 40,000 people from the GCC countries had made use of the company’s packages to different destinations since May 2011. “We are planning to expand our destinations to other places in the near future. We will add Beirut, Jordan, Egypt, Sri Lanka and the Maldives from January 17. Our customers can travel in any season, any day and can even extend their tour at affordable prices,” Cokovic said. He added that the customers could pay affordable package prices “without missing the flexibility of a tailor-made holiday”. Tour packages can be booked through the company website www.holiday-factory. com. The users can make the booking either in Arabic or English and can view all the prices in the local currency. Customers can choose selected travel agencies to book their holidays. Moataz Amin, the Chief Operating Officer of the Holiday Factory, was present at the press conference.

The company is introducing an age-old concept of ‘mass package tourism’ started more than 40 years ago providing everyone an opportunity to fly. “KSA is an unexplored outbound market with a huge growing mid-level income group looking for affordable holidays. The market offers packages that are more expensive compared to that in the developed travel markets. This is where Holiday Factory will bridge the gap that currently exists. We are not only offering our packages mostly for half of the price as compared to the market, but also our packages are of a higher quality standard,” Hakan Bakar, CEO, Holiday Factory. Elaborating further Bakar said: “Instead of travellers spending time shopping we have already done that by using our relationships with hotels and airlines to value for money prices.” Holiday Factory offers packages which include flights, hotel accommodation, airport transfers and a tour representative. Currently the company is offering packages from KSA to Dubai and Istanbul. From 17 January packages will be added to all main European cities, Beirut, Jordan, Egypt, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
